We sent an undercover crew into the Video Plus store on Military Trail, where we'd been tipped off you could buy illegal movies on DVD.

After a hushed conversation with the sales clerk, he hands our crew a red folder, packed with movie posters of films you can buy.  Most of the film posters in the binder though are still in theaters.

"It was just filled with pages full of pictures of the movies, like what you would have at a movie theater.  I saw Transformers, Surf's Up," says a member of our undercover team.

There were other titles says our crew like Spiderman 3, the new Harry Potter film, even Ratatouille.

When our crew asks about the quality of the films, the clerk puts on the new Transformers movie.

He plays it right out in the open and tells us the sale price is based on the quality of the print.  Six dollars he says for a poor quality dub, eight dollars for a clean looking film.

The Motion Picture Association of America has made movie piracy its top priority.

They say Steven Spielberg isn't starving, but the average union worker trying to make ends meet, pays the price for piracy.

"They're just looking to make an honest living and to feed their families," says John Malcolm with the MPAA.  "Fewer people will invest in the film and they will lose their jobs and the movie going public will have less high quality entertainment to enjoy."

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's office rarely investigates movie piracy.  Far more heinous crimes like rape and murder are at the top of their list.

Still, the MPAA has its own investigators.  They collect the evidence and turn it all over to law enforcement to pursue criminal charges.

It's serious says Malcolm because piracy funds far more dangerous criminal enterprise.

"They will use the money they make from movie piracy to fund all kinds of bad activities, such as drugs, underage prostitution, crimes that truly rank up there on the level of the other crimes you just mentioned."

Friday night, we confronted the person with the red folder of films.

To no surprise, he told us he knew nothing about it.

"I wanted to talk to you about some of these illegal DVD's you've been selling.  The illegal bootleg copies," says Holmes.

"I don't know anything about that man," says the clerk.

"We've got some undercover video of you guys selling these.  Transformers, Die Hard," says Holmes.

"Don't know anything about it."

"No?  So the video we're going to put on tonight at eleven of you guys selling these videos is made up?"

"I don't know anything about it," says the clerk.
