Pussycat Dolls slam split reports

Pop six-piece The Pussycat Dolls has slammed reports they are on the verge of splitting up.

The American group, who derived from the Los Angeles burlesque dance troupe, leaped to fame last year with their huge hit Don't Cha.

Frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger's recent solo work with Sean 'Diddy' Combs and opera star Vittorio Grigolo has fuelled speculation the girls are going their separate ways.

However, a spokesman insists the girls are very much together.

The Pussycat Dolls have high-kicked their way into town to promote their new single.

The hot chicks from the US have won fans on both sides of the Atlantic and show no signs of letting up.

The girls say that, whilst they are popular in the States, they get mobbed even more over here.

Ever keen not to limit their potential market, the girls all claim to be single and interested.

As for the new record, it's called I Don't Need A Man.

But if there are any worried guys out there, you shouldn't be.

As Nicole says: "We love our men, we need our men, we just don't always need our men."

So you might just be in with a chance.
