“The Amazon Kindle II is
definitely the hottest product,” said Drennan.
“The Kindle II uses 3G to download books directly to the device – no data
plan is required. You pay a little extra on the eBooks though, probably to
subsidise data costs. Unfortunately the international Kindle II doesn’t have
access to some of the US bestsellers,” Drennan explained.
“The newspapers and magazines that you can access through Amazon also add
value to the device. The Kindle II comes with a nice accessory market around it;
things such as leather covers that make it look like a bound book, neoprene
covers, bags for using it in the shower – a lot of awesome stuff,” said
Drennan.
This is my favorite case for the Kindle. As someone who likes to take out
the Kindle from a case while reading it, this slip case works great. I don't
have to deal with any straps or mounts at all and the case offers great
protection when I'm storing and transporting my Kindle. I'm very happy with
this case for the price as the build quality seems top notch (build quality
is better than the Patagonia one and that one has straps so is less
convenient!)
I have an M-Edge Prodigy Cover but the flap that closes the cover always
bugged me when reading on the Kindle. I almost bought the Amazon cover but
didn't like the fact that it didn't have straps to hold down the right side
of the Kindle. And now with the M-Medge Go, voila! It's just what I wanted.
It's thin (no added bulk), and has the clip mounting system on the left and
straps on the right to keep your Kindle securely in place.
