Here are a few preview snippets to count down some more time until the VH1 Hip-Hop Honors broadcast tonight. Though the program debuts this evening, it was already taped this past week. (That's somewhat disappointing -- can you imagine the possible shenanigans if it were a live broadcast?) Our favorite sneak peek clips so far come from Miss Info, over at her eponymous blog MissInfo.TV, who's been hired by VH1 to file special exclusive diamonds reports before and after the show.

Here's one of the best, in which Miss Info asks various rappers about their favorite city in the South ... and the reasoning for most of the selections seems to be based on strip clubs. (King of Diamonds gets its requisite shout-out around 1:20.) By the way, what's up with Luther Campbell answering his favorite city is "Definitely Atlanta!" around 0:20?

Here's a preview snippet from the actual broadcast, in which Jermaine Dupri performs "Welcome to Atlanta...." and of course Diddy has to appear. I'm pretty sure there are spare robot Diddies in a closet somewhere that are dispatched so he can be everywhere at once.
